 Our client is a very reputable law firm in Los Angeles. When they came to us with the request for a brand and logo uplift, they were keen on preserving and continuing their previous look not only to maintain consistency of the brand but also to honor the original calligraphy/artwork based on which their brand thrived.

In this new iteration of the logo, we retained the original lettering to uphold the integrity of the brand's identity. However, this time, we positioned the lettering within the confines of a circle silhouette.

The circle holds profound symbolism in this design. It represents unity, wholeness, and harmony. By wrapping the lettering within a circular shape, the logo conveys a sense of inclusivity and completeness. This speaks to the firm's holistic approach to addressing legal matters, considering all facets and perspectives to ensure well-rounded solutions for their clients.

Also, the strategic use of negative space within the circle enhances its impact. In a Gestaltist move, the logo prompts the viewers to complete the circle in their minds, making them active participants in its perception. 

Lastly, the enhanced blue maintains the firm’s representation of trust, professionalism, and reliability, thus communicating its commitment to integrity and dependable legal services.

Preserving the original lettering serves to honor the firm's legacy and existing recognition.

Prequel Enterprise was on on a field producing assignment at the premiere of 'The Ugly Duckling' - a surf film on March 15, 2024 on Venice Beach in California. Created by Kelly Foote, the film tells the story of the world renowned surfer Torren Martyn and the iconic surfboard shaper Simon Jones and that of the boards they together developed. 

Torren has become a surf sensation and Simon’s boards are one of the most coveted among avid and professional surfers around the world. In this short, Torren tells us about the way his relationship with Simon developed with the evolution of the boards they together were creating. 

Exciting News! Prequel Enterprise has entered the logo design contest for the prestigious National Bartending School – the ultimate hub for bartending staffing education in the US.  

Our design features a martini glass that cleverly doubles as a winning trophy, symbolizing excellence in bartending skills.  We're thrilled to be a part of this creative challenge.

Prequel Enterprise was recently commissioned to uplift the brand of the international specialty surf supplier company Foam and Function. We started with the logo uplift here. As we progress with the project, which includes a website overhaul, we will demonstrate how the brand has morphed while staying true to its identity.

It was filmed in Santa Ana CA, and shot entirely on an iPhone.
